Visa Requirements

Absolute Egypt Travellers- COMPLIMENTARY VISA - Absolute Egypt Travellers

SMALL GROUP TOURS: We currently offer a complimentary Jordan entry visa  for nationalities that qualify for pre approved entry.

PRIVATE TOURS: We offer a complimentary Jordan entry visa for Private and Tailor Made Tours for stays 3 days or longer, and who qualify for pre approved entry. 

VISA TYPES

JOD 40.00 for single entry valid for 30 days

  • obtained upon arrival at the Queen Queen Alia Airport or major land borders.

  • OR via E-visa application

​JOD 60.00 for two entries within a period of three months, and can be obtained at your nearest embassy/consulate.

JOD 120.00 for multiple entries within a period of 6 months and can be obtained at your nearest embassy/consulate.

VISA ON ARRIVAL

Australian passport holders are pre approved to obtain a visa on arrival.

RESTRICTED NATIONALITIES RQUIRING PRE APPROVAL

Note: If your passport has been issued in Asia, Africa or South America, you may need to apply for a visa before departure.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS - you may be asked on arrival for:

  • proof of outbound ticket

  • all booking vouchers - itinerary & intended stays

Passport requirements

To enter Jordan your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay.

There should be at least one blank page in your passport.

Health, Medicines & Vaccinations

MEDICATION

Not all medication available over the counter or by prescription in your home country are available in these countries. Consider bringing enough medication to cover your entire trip. Some medications may even be considered illegal. Please seek advice from your local GP if unsure.

VACCINATIONS

It is the responsibility of each traveller to check the current vaccination requirements to enter Jordan.

There is no mandatory vaccination requirements to enter Morocco, however it is best to check with your local GP who may recommend you be vaccinated against certain things such as Hepatitis A & B, Influenzas or Tetanus.

Imagine getting caught out in another country without any travel insurance. Things could get very costly indeed. We therefore require all travellers be covered with comprehensive insurance.

You will be asked to sign an International Travel Waiver to ensure you are aware of this requirement as part of our terms and conditions

Money & Personal Imports (including duty free)

The local currency is Jordanian Dinar (JOD)

The dinar is considered a closed currency meaning it is not freely traded on the international markets and cannot be used in any other country.

There is no limit to the amount of foreign currency you can bring in, but amounts exceeding JOD 10,000 or equivalent must be declared upon arrival.

When exiting Jordan, local currency (JOD) exports are limited to 300 JOD.
