Grand Egyptian Museum
Enjoy your breakfast before starting your guided tour to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the world, the Great Pyramids of Giza. Your Egyptologist guide will escort you through the pyramid complex and brief you on 3000 years of history.
Next, visit the Great Sphinx. Carved over 4,500 years ago, this mythical creature has the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, and stands tall guarding the Giza Plateau in Egypt.
After lunch it’s onto the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), located just outside Cairo near the Giza Pyramids. It is the world’s largest archaeological museum dedicated to a single civilization.
The GEM is already making waves for its striking modern design and the scale of its collection—over 100,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts, many of which have never been displayed before.
Its crown jewel is the complete collection of treasures from King Tutankhamun’s tomb, displayed together for the first time in one place.

FLIGHT TO LUXOR

Karnak Temple
Luxor Temple at dusk
This morning its an early morning flight to the worlds greatest open air museum - Luxor.
On arrival, you’ll be picked up from the airport and transferred north with your private drive and guide for approx 1 hour to your first stop.
The Dendera Temple of Hathor is one of Egypt’s most beautifully preserved temple complexes. Dedicated to Hathor, the goddess of love, music, and joy, the temple is richly adorned with detailed carvings, colourful reliefs, and intricate hieroglyphics that have survived remarkably well over the centuries. One of its most famous features is the astronomical ceiling, showcasing the ancient Egyptian zodiac in extraordinary detail—a testament to their advanced understanding of the cosmos.
Karnak Temple is a colossal religious complex with construction beginning around 2055 BC. This continued for over 1500 years under different pharaohs, including Amenhotep III, Tutankhamun, and Ramesses II. Simply put, everything here is on a gigantic scale.
This spectacular complex is home to sanctuaries, kiosks, pylons and obelisks.
Finish your day at Luxor Temple at dusk, one the best times to visit when the lights magically aluminate the walls of the outer courtyard and inner sanctuary.
Marvel at the soaring columns and colossal statues, adorned with intricate hieroglyphics and reliefs depicting scenes from ancient Egyptian mythology and history. The Avenue of Sphinxes, stretching over a mile in length, connects Luxor Temple to its sister temple, Karnak.

INCLUDED ACTIVITES
Valley of the Kings
Hatshepsut Temple
Colossi of Memnon
Today’s visit is based on the famous West Bank attractions.
The Valley of the Kings, located on the west bank of the Nile River in Egypt, is an ancient burial ground that served as the final resting place for pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom era. Spanning over 500 years, from the 16th to the 11th century BCE, it contains around 63 tombs, including Tutankhamun's famous tomb.
These tombs were carved into the rock and adorned with intricate paintings and hieroglyphics. Discovered in the 18th century, the Valley of the Kings remains a significant archaeological site, giving us valuable insights into the ancient Egyptian burial customs and beliefs.
Hatshepsut Temple is quite like nothing else among Egypt’s famous temples. Built during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC and dedicated to the sun god, Amun-Ra, the temple’s backdrop of towering cliffs makes for an impressive sight.
Queen Hatshepsut was a unique and trailblazing figure in ancient Egypt. As a female ruler, she defied societal norms and broke through the gender barrier, ascending to the throne and ruling Egypt effectively for over two decades. Her reign symbolized female empowerment and challenged traditional gender roles, setting an inspiring precedent for future generations of female leaders.
Finish your Luxor visit at the Colossi of Memnon. Standing 18 metres tall are two massive stone statues depicting Pharaoh Amenhotep III seated on a throne. Erected around 1350 BCE, they originally guarded the entrance to his mortuary temple, which is now mostly in ruins.
