Enjoy your breakfast before starting your guided tour to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the world, the Great Pyramids of Giza. Your Egyptologist guide will escort you around the pyramid complex and brief you on thousands of years of history.

The largest, the Pyramid of Khufu — also known as the Great Pyramid — was originally covered in gleaming white limestone casing stones and stood at 146 metres tall, making it the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years.

Next, visit the Great Sphinx. This mythical creature has the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, and stands tall guarding the Giza Plateau in Egypt.

Saqqara Necropolis

Built around 2600 BC,  Saqqara served as a burial ground for pharaohs, high officials, and nobles, reflecting the Egyptian belief in the afterlife and the importance of elaborate burial practices.

This remarkable complex includes the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the Hypostyle Hall and the many tombs which we will visit. You’ll also see plenty of hieroglyphics that adorn the walls of the complex throughout.

You visit also includes entry to the Serapeum.

The Serapeum of Saqqara is a deeply evocative site that offers a unique spiritual experience for visitors. It was the burial ground of the Apis bulls, considered sacred animals in ancient Egyptian religion. From a spiritual perspective, a visit to the Serapeum can provide profound insights into the ancient Egyptians' view of the divine, the afterlife, and the interconnectedness of all life.

Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), located just outside Cairo near the Giza Pyramids, is the world’s largest archaeological museum dedicated to a single civilization. 

The GEM is already making waves for its striking modern design and the scale of its collection—over 100,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts, many of which have never been displayed before.

 Its crown jewel is the complete collection of treasures from King Tutankhamun’s tomb, displayed together for the first time in one place.

Citadel of Saladin

‍ Constructed by Salah al-Din on the Moqattam Hills in 1183 AD as a defense against Crusader armies, the Citadel is now a preserved historic site of mosques and museums, including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha. Its commanding position high above greater Cairo, offers impressive sweeping views of the city and beyond.

‍Coptic Cairo is a neighbourhood brimming with rich history and remarkable heritage.

‍Also known as “Old Cairo”, this historic enclave offers a glimpse into Egypt's Christian heritage. This charming district is home to ancient churches, monasteries, and winding alleys steeped in history. 

Highlights include the Hanging Church, a 7th-century masterpiece suspended above a Roman fortress, and the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus, believed to shelter the Holy Family during the time of fleeing to Egypt.

‍National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC)

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization showcases Egypt's rich heritage, covering prehistoric to present-day periods. Stepping inside, visitors are greeted by an array of artifacts dating back thousands of years. From monumental statues of pharaohs to intricate hieroglyphic inscriptions, each display tells a captivating story of Egypt's past. 

The museum also boasts the Mummy Hall, a remarkable underground collection of mummies (18 Kings & 2 Queens)  and burial objects, shedding light on the ancient Egyptian beliefs surrounding the afterlife.

‍ Nestled within the vibrant streets of the historic Islamic Cairo district lies an enchanting world of colours, scents, and cultural treasures. The Khan El-Khalili Bazaar is a bustling, vibrant market that has been around for centuries. Famous for its gold souks, visitors can shop for unique pieces and souvenirs through its whimsical laneways. Bartering is expected here, but we’ll happily help you negotiate a fair price if you prefer.
